On Monday, August 21, the Johnson County Historical Society will host eclipse activities at the Johnson County Central Tecumseh Site. Eclipse viewing glasses and a hot dog meal will be provided free of charge. JCC will provide transportation for students from Cook, Talmage and Elk Creek. Pick-up times will be 10:15 a.m. in Cook at the middle school, 10:30 a.m. in Talmage at the Public Library and 10:30 a.m. in Elk Creek on Main Street. Students will need to have a note from home to board the vehicle. Students riding on school transportation will be under direct supervision of school personnel and will be returned to their repsective pick-up sports as soon as possible after the eclipse activities. Transportation back to Cook, Talmage and Elk Creek will depart no later than 2:00 p.m.

Tonight is JCC's Cook Site Elementary Open House at 5:00 p.m. and the Middle School Walk-Through at 6:00 p.m.
Elementary students and their parents should report to the students' classrooms at 5:00 p.m., then to the old gym.
Middle school students and their parents will report to the new gym at 6:00 p.m.
