Striv 2.0 Has Arrived!

striv_shadow_logoWe’re excited to announce the launch of our new website!

Our team spent this past spring and summer diligently working on thinking through how we could make our website better.  We wanted to make it simple and easy to navigate and ultimately help grandparents, alumni and fans find the event they want to watch as quickly as possible.

Here are some of the main features we’re really excited to share with you and hope that you enjoy.

1. Upcoming Events Ticker – Right from our homepage you can now see and click on an event you want to watch. The ticker will list the school or schools competing (abbreviated), date, time and event type (football, volleyball, concert, etc.) by showing an icon. You can scroll through and see all of the events taking place and when so you never miss a moment of action. By clicking on an event it will take you directly to the channel page where it will be broadcasted. Once you arrive at the school’s channel page you will also notice that the Upcoming Events Ticker has now switched to that specific schools events (feature coming soon).

2. Follow Your School – Yes, we know another “Follow” button. However, we hope you really enjoy this one as you can now Follow a specific school and receive email alerts as to when their next event will be broadcasted. The email will be sent out that day to remind you what type of event and with a direct link to the school’s channel page.

3. School Channel Page – Our channel pages have evolved into more than just video now. We’re really excited to not only provide the school with the option to have their live and on-demand content but now they can post articles, photos and more right on their channel page. Our goal is that this will provide ONE location for all of the schools online media coverage.

4. Social Stream – Social Media has proved to be a great tool to communicate and we agree. Each school now has the ability to embed their Twitter account, School Hashtag or Facebook page right into their channel page. This will provide another great way for schools to communicate with folks tuning into a game and promote what’s happening at their school.

Again we are really excited about the new site and even more excited for the start of this upcoming school year. We hope that you enjoy using the site and please contact us if you have any questions, feedback or feature requests as we continue to grow and provide Nebraska High Schools with the best live streaming platform!
