It’s time to open academy applications for 2021. We are looking for creative leaders who want to pursue their passion and knowledge of digital media.
Striv Academy was created to establish a community of like-minded high school students who are eager to learn more about sharing stories and building their personal brand as a content creator.
We want to come alongside you in your creative pursuit and provide you media resources, project feedback, and an opportunity to gain real-world media experience.
In Academy, you will…
1) Work through our suggested projects in your track and share with other students and the Striv team.
2) Be connected with an established group of other like-minded high school academy students
3) Receive feedback and advice from professionals in the field – The Striv team, Striv teachers, Striv Alumni, and many more.
4) Have the opportunity to be invited to attend a NSAA state event as Striv student media.
This is our third year of Academy and our students have flourished in the four tracks that we offer: Video, Design, Writing and Audio. In the past, our students have been able to produce a variety of different projects!
Our goal is that students are able to refine their skills during the school year so that they can execute on a professional level when it comes time to capture content at major events such as state tournaments.
Check out our camera crew from State Football! These three academy students joined the Striv staff to help us cover state football. Each student was granted a media pass and was able to go down on the field to capture photo and video content and share it on their platform!
At State Basketball, we had our largest Academy crew yet! Each of our four tracks were represented as students took photos, and video of the game, as well as recorded post game interviews with players and coaches, and wrote game recaps for our blog!
