We’re excited to help promote a great event for educators, admin, and school counselors by #ICANHELP coming up on Saturday, February 11 in Lincoln at The BAY for educators in Nebraska.
Below is all of the information about the event and we hope to see you there!
As an educator, counselor or administrator, you have most likely seen the positive and negative sides of social media on your school campus. As schools begin to embrace social media use and look at social media policy there is a lot of information to consider and resources that can help advisor, administrators and counselors make appropriate and thoughtful decisions.
- In this workshop you will gain insight into student and school use of social media through case studies and examples covering harassment, impersonation, and sexting.
- We will share tools, strategies and lessons to mitigate and reduce online negative behavior and improve school climate and culture.
- You will leave with best practices, lessons, sample policy and ideas you can implement immediately upon returning to your school.
