Sometimes you get to announce something really exciting.
Today’s the day for this Striver.
We are so excited to announce our newest hire and a member of the Striv family in Sara Brune.
Sara is a recent graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University with a degree in Communication Studies with Marketing and Studio Art emphasis. She’s a Bradshaw native and a 2013 graduate of Heartland Community Schools.
Striv was able to nab Sara this summer as an Intern and it was quickly realized we did not ever want her to leave.
Her accomplishments along her educational journey are extensive. Being a standout, three sport athlete in high school and taking those talents to competing collegiately as well. Not only did she excel on the court and track, she has an innate sense of communication in the business world that you just can not teach.
What we are really excited about is Sara’s passion for people, for marketing, for education and her drive for excellence, which all come pretty natural to her.
With the impressive resume she carries, it is hard to find an exact spot for her at Striv because she could excel in numerous areas. For now, we are giving her the title: Communications & School Engagement Director. Sara will work out of Striv’s Lincoln office space located in the Haymarket (starting September 1st). She will be primarily assisting with implementing all of our education programs through StrivU.
Sara is contagious to be around and has a great knowledge of sports, education, and media. She balances the perfect amount of professionalism and authenticity to make you think you’ve known her your whole life and want to work with her in just a quick conversation. She jumped right in and took on a lot of things she was just beginning to understand about the Striv dynamics. It is going to be fun to watch what she’s able to do!
We couldn’t be more thrilled to call Sara a part of what Striv is doing now and is pushing to do in the near future!
