Grand Island Northwest’s Technology Integration Specialist, Heather Callihan, is dedicated to getting the great things happening at the district’s schools out with an efficient social media strategy. With the addition of a district Instagram account to compliment the already functioning Facebook and Twitter accounts, Callihan works to make a seamless experience for both the person posting as well as their followers. She does an excellent job of promoting the idea of sharing individual stories and the schools’ stories by encouraging the use of the school’s hashtag, #GINWVIKINGS, when posting great stories, pictures and more.
